Inspiration
In standard chess notation, light squares are the white ones. Several strategies in chess are based on light (white) or dark (black) squares on the board depending on the players position of strategic pieces.
The type of checks is a tartan plaid. Plaids are complex checks and Tartan plaids are the original plaids from Scotland. In a Tartan both vertical and stripe patterns have to match evenly creating perfectly symmetric patterns.
This saree is perfect for a professional look or even a casual outing. Paired with a light or self coloured blouse, the saree has a soothing effect on the eyes.

Maintenance: Dry Clean is reccomended. But this saree can be easily washed at home with a gentle detergent and delicate spin cycle of a washing machine.
