Inspiration
The Arabian Mate is a checkmate pattern that features the unique abilities of a knight (horse) with the help of a rook.
Type of check is called the Madras Plaid. Originated in the 1800s and named after the old name of the City of Chennai, India, Madras is a regular plaid made of quirky, asymmetrical patterns. It is very colorful and bright just like the chaotic city of Madras itself.
The saree has an airy and lightweight appeal. It is fun and playful yet cutting enough for a formal occasion as well.
