An intimacy with nature is nurtured by quietude and solitude in her arms. Nature pulsates with life, mirth, joy and often rage and revolt. This collection is about nature and the multitude of emotions it provokes in us influencing our own nature/Prakriti. Every saree in this collection is symbolic of an element in nature. The silver grey of this Saree whispers a dewy veil of an autumn morning.

Fabric:
The fabric is a blend of linen and tissue giving it a metallic sheen.It comes with a woven silver border.
Printing:
The prints are inspired my Kalamkari prints. Kalamkari is one of the oldest printing style and technique of India, from Andhra Pradesh.
Screen printing is a method in which ink is applied directly to the surface to be printed (substrate). The image to be printed is photographically transferred to a very fine fabric (the screen) such that the non-printing areas are blocked off and the fabric serves as a stencil. The ink is wiped across the screen to pass through the unblocked pores and reach the substrate. For each color to be printed a separate screen is prepared and the process is repeated. It is tedious and painstakingly done by hand.
