The fabric is called tissue silk. It is pure silk interwoven with silk zari. The saree drapes well and easy to pleat. The fabric has a beautiful soft shine that comes from the silk zari.

Hand Embroidered:

The butterfly motifs are hand embroidered with silk or resham thread interspersed with sequences.
