Description
Fabric:
The fabric is linen interwoven with modal or plant based silk. Both yarns used are pure. The combination of silk and linen give the drape a rich yet earthy flow.
Printing:
Block printed by hand. A combination of blocks have been used across the saree. The body of the saree has a geometric blocks. The border has traditional blocks inspired by Bengali Rangoli, called ‘Alpana’ patterns. The pallav of the saree has a combination of ‘Alpana’ and geometric blocks.
