Inspiration
Feared and revered in eastern mythology, the graceful creature represents rebirth, new beginnings and death (to be interpreted as a pause before a fresh start). Name of the saree means infinity, the concept of which emerges from our ancient believes of the serpent possessing infinite heads. Spiritually, the snake also represents desire or Kama. Like a snake bite, the lash of desire has it’s hypnotic effect to which we lose control. This is strictly mythological speak and it’s hard to justify the similitude of both the feelings. However, snakes possess a lissome grace which is hypnotizing.
Coil this lithe and slinky drape and hypnotize all around you.

Description
Fabric:
The fabric of the saree is a soft flowing blended silk with luster and sheen. Blended silk means we have combined two types of silk fabrics to achieve the final composition. But both are pure silk fabrics.
Printing:
The motifs are screen printed on the fabric. Screen printing is a method in which ink is applied directly to the surface to be printed (substrate). The image to be printed is photographically transferred to a very fine fabric (the screen) such that the non-printing areas are blocked off and the fabric serves as a stencil. The ink is wiped across the screen to pass through the unblocked pores and reach the substrate. For each color to be printed a separate screen is prepared and the process is repeated. It is tedious and painstakingly done by hand.
